Once again following on from our success at the Field Marketing and Brand Experience (FMBE) Awards in 2016, we are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted in a number of categories again this year.
- Brand Ambassador of the Year (Field Sales/FMCG) – David Byrne from our pladis team.
- Stand/Display Unit (Instore/Kiosk/Indoor) – Our Diageo team & Custodian Consultancy’s An Post and Pedigree teams.
- Professional Agency Team – PRL.
- Field Marketing Agency of the Year – PRL.
This year’s awards will be taking place in London’s Troxy on the 19th of October. The FMBE Awards have become one of the largest events in the calendar for the marketing industry in Europe. The awards aim to recognise the pinnacle of all face to face marketing campaigns from merchandising through to live PR stunts in both the UK and Ireland.
Awards Director, Frank Wainright comments: “As usual the shortlist will create celebration and disappointment – we have far more that don’t make it through than do. My thanks go out to all entrants, who have proven once again the FMBEs are the ones that the best of the best truly want to win. To the celebrants, I can add my full congratulations. You have made it through a thorny and intense judging process and the exacting eyes of 70+ experts from our industry. To the entries not making it through, I can only say commiserations – you were up against some stellar brand activity from the UK and globally. The shortlist is awash with prestigious brands and agencies, performing at the peak of their powers, and no decisions were made lightly. FMBEs are judged slowly – 2 categories per day – and I am sure that our finalists will represent so much that our industry can be proud of.”
Last year, for the third year running, we took home awards – Silver Award for Most Effective Tactical Campaign (Marketing/PoS Led) for Hop House 13, Silver Award for Most Effective Product Launch for Hop House 13, and Bronze Award for Agency of the Year 2016. We are hoping to repeat this success again this year.
