We’re looking for a Quality Associate to join our team and support the day-to-day operation of our Quality Management System.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience in a quality, compliance or quality administration role who enjoys working in a structured environment and wants to develop their knowledge across quality systems, audits, suppliers and regulatory compliance.

You’ll work closely with the Quality Manager to help ensure our processes and systems continue to meet the required GMP, GDP, ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP standards.

What will you be doing?

Your role will include:

• Helping prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits
• Supporting supplier quality, including supplier approvals, records and performance monitoring
• Supporting the Quality Management System, including document control and SOPs
• Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of equipment records
• Ensuring relevant licences and certifications are kept up to date
• Participating in simulated product recalls
• Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
• Supporting the Quality Manager with deviations, change controls, risk assessments and audit actions
• Assisting with the preparation and review of SOPs
• Attending meetings with customers where required
• Compiling monthly quality reports and KPIs
• Supporting the analysis of customer complaints and quality trends
• Working with the wider team to achieve our Quality, Health & Safety and Business KPIs

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar quality, compliance or quality administration role
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or a similar Quality Management System
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP and/or HACCP/Food Safety requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A professional and diplomatic approach when dealing with different stakeholders
• A willingness to learn and develop within the role
• Full Clean Driving licence and flexibility to work across PRL sites
