The Role:
This position would suit a transport planner or administrator, who has experience with logistics and warehousing and would like to challenge themselves with a company working across Ireland, the UK and Rest of the World.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks that drive our logistics operations forward, including:
- Processing import manifests and bookings accurately and on time, following company policies and procedures.
- Meeting customer delivery needs effectively and cost-efficiently, with a focus on operational excellence.
- Managing files, billing, and costing to ensure seamless processing within company guidelines.
- Keeping customers informed on order status and addressing any changes or exceptions proactively.
- Collaborating with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Fostering a positive work environment through teamwork and respect.
- Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performing administrative tasks, including report creation and data entry.
- Generating and sharing delivery and performance reports for key stakeholders.
- Assisting with other operational functions and projects as needed.
Required skills:
We’re looking for candidates who bring:
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a logistics or transport planning role.
- Strong systems skills, including experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of the logistics or freight forwarding industry is a plus.
- Good knowledge of the UK and Ireland is beneficial
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and analytical ability.
- Solid communication skills with a proven track record of reliability and dedication.
