Commercial Account Manager – Logistics & Warehousing

Location: D24 R9YX – Hybrid

This role is suited to candidates with experience in logistics or supply chain environments, particularly those working in account management or client services roles.

The Commercial Account Manager will focus on owning key client relationships from a commercial perspective — not just relationship management, but also contracts, profitability, and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters
  • Leading regular client reviews to align on performance, priorities, and opportunities
  • Managing contracts, renewals, and service agreements
  • Supporting pricing discussions and negotiations in a collaborative, solutions-focused way
  • Monitoring account performance across revenue, margin, and service delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through additional or improved services
  • Working closely with operations teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
  • Collaborating with finance on forecasting and commercial planning

Accounts Assistant at PRL

Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable Team)

Location: Greenogue, Rathcoole, Co Dublin, D24 R9YX
Department: Finance – Accounts Payable
Reporting to: Accounts Payable Team Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Payable team in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment. This is a junior position, ideal for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is eager to learn and develop practical skills across finance and operations.

You will play a key role in supporting the AP function while also assisting with transport job costing and reporting, giving you exposure to both financial and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting payment runs
  • Assisting with month-end Accounts Payable close
  • Assisting with costing of transport jobs, issuing POs to suppliers
  • Preparing weekly transport cost reports
  • Maintaining supplier records:
    • Setting up new supplier accounts
    • Updating existing supplier details
  • Liaising with internal departments and external vendors to resolve financial queries
  • Data entry and maintenance across multiple systems:
    • Transport management system
    • Purchase Order (PO) system
    • Financial accounting system
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with numbers and high volumes of data
  • Good Excel skills (minimum VLOOKUP level required)
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

We are hiring a Sales Merchandisers to create and develop relationships in stores with the aim of growing sales within them through a mix of direct selling, business development, data collection & merchandising. We need the successful candidate to be able to effectively work as part of a team. Willing to support colleagues, as well as learn from them, to achieve a common goal.

Package:

  • €14.15 per hour – competitive hourly rate
  • €6.25 per full day worked Lunch allowance (provided on all full working days)
  • Daily phone allowance – relative to days worked
  • Mileage reimbursement at €0.32 per km (own vehicle required)

Weekly hours: from 8/ available

Core Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Working within Dunnes Stores
  • Gaining and maintaining space across all products lines
  • Ensuring Maximum activity in your stores to support volume and value of sales
  • Enhancing the path to purchase through – POS placement, Product training, Merchandising, SEL’s placement/ correction, Distribution and Space
  • Gaining incremental space
  • Communicating store activity back to the team leads.
  • Implementing planograms and ensuring store compliance
  • Building and implementing promotional activity
  • Dealing with the client at a rep and regional manager level
  • Work with in-store contacts to pre-sell and execute trade activity (current & future) in stores
  • Capturing & Reporting in-store data (Promotional compliance, distribution data, incremental displays, etc.)

What do you need to be considered for this role?

  • Some merchandising and/or retail experience preferable but not essential
  • A motivated problem solver with a can-do attitude that displays good social intelligence
  • Full Clean Drivers License is ESSENTIAL!!!
  • An ability to build great working relationships with line managers, peers and customers
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and personal organisational skills
  • Strong technological acumen (Ability to work with tablets/phones)
